Electrophoretic deposition assisted fabrication of novel functional nanostructured arrays

Collaborator: Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini

Dr. Go Kawamura is an assistant professor at Toyohashi University of Technology (TUT), Japan, and has been periodically visiting the Institute of Biomaterials (FAU) since Oct. 2017. The collaboration is based on our participation in the Program for Fostering Globally Talented Researchers supported by Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).  In this program, Dr. Go Kawamura is carrying out research on the development of novel liquid phase processes for the fabrication of functional nanocomposites [1,2]. Currently he focuses on the development of electrophoretic deposition assisted process for the fabrication of nanotube array-based nanocomposites.
